Quick Review: The Red Stained Wings by Elizabeth Bear

I loved the first book in this series (though I got the impression you could probably jump on with this one if you wanted to) but this second book really amps up the pace as the main characters each pursue their own strands of adventure in a really original and well realised world.

I like Bear a lot - I must have read 20+ books by her - and I think this is her best so far.
